Rome, Friday 24 April 2026 – 5:00 PM, at Casotto Bistrot, Monte Ciocci Park
As part of the European project RealUrbanGreen (RUG), a stakeholder meeting was held on Friday, 24 April 2026 at 5:00 PM at Casotto Bistrot, located within Monte Ciocci Park in Rome.
The initiative marked a key milestone in the project’s participatory pathway, aimed at the co-design and shared development of interventions based on Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for the regeneration and enhancement of urban spaces. During the meeting, participants took part in an exploratory walk through the project area—already authorized within the RUG framework—with the objective of directly observing the site and discussing its potential transformations. This was followed by the presentation of the initial design concepts developed for the selected pilot Nature-based Solution, with particular focus on environmental, social, and functional dimensions.
The meeting also provided an open forum for discussion, enabling participants to share insights, expectations, and local knowledge—recognized as key elements in shaping an effective and context-sensitive design process. Finally, the next operational steps of the project were outlined, including implementation timelines and opportunities for the active involvement of the various stakeholders.
The event formed part of the broader RealUrbanGreen strategy to foster participatory urban regeneration processes, grounded in nature-based solutions and strengthened by collaboration among institutions, local communities, and territorial stakeholders.
The meeting was organized by Risorse per Roma, with the support of Repaly Network APS for co-design activities.
