Date: Tuesday, 11 November 2025 — 9:00–17:30

The training session will focus on Citizen Science tools for monitoring and assessing Urban Green Spaces (UGS) within the framework of the RealUrbanGreen project. Organized under Work Package 1, the event will explore the methodological basis and practical applications of selected tools, emphasizing their role in data collection, environmental evaluation, and stakeholder engagement.

Participants will discuss the outcomes of the preliminary assessment and learn how to select and implement appropriate tools for specific pilot areas. The session will include theoretical presentations by the University of Valencia and Commonspace, followed by a hands-on field activity in the Ptuj pilot area, where participants will apply the proposed methods directly on-site.

The event aims to enhance partners’ capacities in adopting Citizen Science approaches and to foster shared understanding of how innovative monitoring tools can strengthen participatory management of green urban environments.
