From 10 to 12 March 2026, the partners of the RealUrbanGreen project will meet in Athens for a three-day event dedicated to participatory planning and regeneration of urban green spaces (UGS).
Event overview
The first two days (10–11 March) will focus on hands-on training in participatory methods and co-design processes. Partners and invited stakeholders will:

Explore innovative tools for citizen engagement and community-driven planning.

Share experiences from their pilot UGS areas, drawing on citizen science assessments.

Develop actionable co-design plans tailored to each pilot sites that have investments in this matter: Rome (IT), Ptuj (SI), Sarajevo (BA), but also for the followers: Cuba (PT): Lakatamia (CY) Athens (GR).
On the final day (12 March), the meeting will be dedicated to internal project discussions, including project management, monitoring, and planning the next steps. Stakeholders are welcome to join the first two days, while alternative activities may be organized for the last day.
