The second partner meeting of RealUrbanGreen took place in Ptuj, Slovenia, from 10 to 13 November 2025. Hosted at the Dominican Monastery, the event brought together nine partners from seven countries for four days of workshops, presentations, and collaborative activities.
The meeting focused on advancing the project’s holistic model for co-designing and co-managing urban green spaces across the Mediterranean. Key sessions explored approaches to climate adaptation, citizen participation, green infrastructure planning, and participatory governance.
The Ptuj Pilot Investment
The pilot in Ptuj aims to revitalise the area between Kvedrova Street and Potrčeva Road. Local residents have already contributed through participatory meetings, providing insights and priorities for a green area that supports recreation, biodiversity, and climate resilience.
A newly updated video report, recorded in Slovenian and featuring English subtitles, is now available, offering an overview of the main activities and reflections from the meeting.
A curated gallery of photos from the event has also been added.
RealUrbanGreen continues its mission to support cities in developing greener, healthier, and more resilient urban environments.
